The Bell SRT helmet’s main feature is a flip-up chin bar with very simple to operate locking mechanism. If you have never used one before, you will be pleasantly surprise, how practical and comfortable it is. If you are riding in town, commuting, or simple use to getting on and off your bike regularly the flip-up chin bar makes helmet wearing far less restricting.
A lightweight helmet the Bell SRT has many features that make it very practical to use. Aside the removable, washable anti-bacterial liner, it has built-in recessed EPS pockets for intercoms, grooves to allow for glasses, anti-fog coated Panovision visor with class 1 optics and an integral washable sun visor. Ventilation is effective through a single adjustable vent in the chin bar and an upper intake vent, which combine with the permanently open exhaust vents at the rear creating low pressure to drawer fresh air through.
Comfortable to wear for extended periods the fit is ‘more relaxed’ than some full face helmets. On the bike noise levels are very reasonable, despite the additional shut seams to allow for the lift-up chin bar. All in all, a great helmet at a very reasonable price, with the added benefit of a class leading 5 year warranty.
